18-Month doctors appointment & some rare form pictures!

Our baby girl celebrated 18-months on Monday! With this celebration brings the most dreaded doctors visit however. We could not get in for her 15-month check up so we really had two appointments in one, also meaning 3 shots in one day! *yucko* Emma was hamming it up for the doctor as if to say "if I smile and be cute can we just skip the shots today". *smiles* She is still our little skinny mini and only weighs 18 pounds (17 lb. 10 oz.) to be exact. The doctor was not concerned about it, but wanted us to switch to whole milk and add in some more dairy products since she doesn't like milk that much! Everything else went well and he was very surprised at all the words she could say. He actually sat there for some time listening to a lot of them. He could almost immediately tell who her favorite character was since every other word was "ELMO". LOL!

I am just going to brag a little bit here and tell you some of the words she is saying well enough for everyone to understand. So if you aren't interested or already know then you can skip this paragraph!. She is saying Elmo of course, duck, daisy (thats Nana's cats name), baby, NO, book, snack, juice, bye-bye, bath, get (thats for Kirby), shoes, ball, bubbles, ice, coke, up, down, boat, eyes, nose, mouth, and the list goes on. This is not including words like Momma & Nana! LOL!

Okay...now onto the rare form photos. Almost all of the pictures I take of Emma are motion pictures because she is on the move. I rarely get a good picture of her smiling and being still. Well today I learned the trick...sit her in front of an Elmo movie and viola...rare form pictures! *cheese*

You can tell she is watching a movie in this one, but she looks surprised at whatever they were doing!

I LOVE ELMO!

After taking about 45-50 pictures she had
had enough and covered herself with the pillow!
No more paparazi please I am trying to watch Elmo!
