Lack of Pics for the 4th!

Well...I hope everyone had a great holiday weekend! Friday Payton, Emma and I went to Mom & Dad's for grilled burgers, hot dogs, and the best watermelon I have ever had. The watermelon part was actually an accident. Mom & I picked it up at Wal-Mart, but when she started cutting it were surprised when it was a yellow watermelon. I had never heard of such a thing and was leery of trying it, but to my surprise it was very good! If you have never tried it you should...you will not be disappointed! Mama & Papa Terry joined in on the fun as well.

Then Saturday, Fourth of July, we went to Papa Don & Granny Kay's for swimming and grilling. All the food was great and the kids had fun swimming. We were joined by Matt, Crystal and Keith. Ben grilled all the food for us and it was delicious. Then we enjoyed time around the pool swimming, visiting and laughing. Of course I only took a couple of pics from the entire holiday weekend and none of which to be very excited about, but will share anyway.

I also got the cutest dress for Emma to wear to church on Sunday and didn't even get a picture of her in it either. I will, however, be taking a picture and posting it later because it is just too cute not to share! *wink*

Bentley is Matt & Crystals dog and he swam the entire time we were there...I am talking hours and hours people. They would take him out and he would whine and yelp to get back in. It really was funny!

Of course Granny Kay couldnt enjoy the pool until it was spotless! LOL!

I will dress Emma in her cute little patriotic dress and take pictures and post them later this week....maybe even tomorrow if you are lucky! *wink, wink*
